Like so many of you, we have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Our resort is open, and we want you to know there is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our Owners, Guests, Employees and Communities. We know spending time together with family is important, and we want you to have confidence that we are taking steps to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being. We’ve been gathering regular updates and guidance from the CDC and state-level health departments to ensure we are implementing known best practices.
There are changes at your resort to ensure your health and safety related to common areas, facilities and lobby area, housekeeping & maintenance. If you have questions prior to arrival, please call the resort at (858) 459-3446.
If you need to change your “use time” reservation, please contact your resort. We will make every effort to accommodate your request within the guidelines of your resort’s Rules & Regulations. As an alternative, you can contact our exchange company, Platinum Interchange, for additional options at 1-800-854-2324. Platinum Interchange is waiving or reducing fees wherever possible.

Staying at Casa
Recent times have been uncertain dealing with restrictions both suggested and mandated. I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. For the well-being of the owners, we are using EPA/OSHA approved cleaning products and the unit is cleaned before a new guest arrives.
Owner assessments are not compensation in exchange for an Owner’s Use Period; rather they are an allocation of the operational costs of the Property among the owners, regardless of use. Assessments are not a fee for use of the Property.
Spa and Deck
With last minute changes required from the planning department and delays with the department itself moving (twice), the work on the new deck is taking longer than anticipated. And, with the current COVID-19 restrictions in place, we are experiencing slightly more delays; however, we will continue working diligently to get this project completed as quickly as possible.
The new front entrance and sidewalk have been completed. We still have our regular entrance and steps; however, if you are rolling your luggage, you can use the new entrance located at the corner of the property for easier access.
Casa Website
If you have visited our website recently, you will have noticed it has a fantastic new look and presents Casa de la Playa in a great professional manner.
Among the changes, there is an important item for you to note. Ads placed by owners (for sale, rentals or trades) can no longer be placed directly by the owner. The new procedure is to simply email the Casa de la Playa office with all information you want on the ad, and we will publish it for you. When you want it removed, simply email or call us and we will remove the ad as requested.
